I've been here in Campeche for a little over 1 day and I'm obsessed!  It is such a cool city!  I absolutely love it. So much to tell, I just might have to explain it all with pictures~I have already taken a bunch!  But there is a 25mb limit per email and this dumb computer is the worst!

 

1.  Where exactly are you?

I'm in the city Campeche, state Campeche. South side!  Just google it ha!  the area

Samula is in my area and there is also a huge university in my area.

 

2.  Who is your new comp?  family:  how long out?  where from?

His name is Elder Meador~ he's from Missouri. Don't know much about his family, but his dad is a pilot and he wants to be a pilot. He is1 transfer less than I am. He's awesome! this transfer is going to rock!  I am super stoked! He's a stud.

 

3.  Did you get a new backpack?

Yeah, I did. I love it, thanks

 

4.  I am getting ready to send another package--do you need anything?

Peanut butter andddd... dang it i was wishing a had something but I can't think of it now. I'll make a list of stuff for next week. I forgot. I'm agenda-less right now so i forget.... ha

 

So its HILLY here! Merida is soooo flat, but here is just crazyyy hilly. I'll be walking on a street then all the sudden the street does a 50 degree upward incline! and when the rain comes(every day), it all funnells down in the street and makes a huge river!  I keep saying it would be a crazy city to longboard!  I wish I had one!

 

My house is up on a hill with an amazing view of the city and the ocean. I love it. We live above some members who are awesome. I haven't been out to the beach yet, we´ll have to go next week. It started to rain, and is currently raining right now.

 

I don't know if I told you but I have 2 wards to go to, one in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Both are awesome, 1 is kinda small like Brisas was and the other is a little bit stronger with quiet a bit more people. Yesterday was a full day in the church from 830 to 3pm. We had invesitgatores that came to both. We also had some great lessons last night. I'm super stoked to work here.

 

Well I'm outtie, I'm kinda frustrated because this stinky computer keeps turning itself off and restarting... ahhh. Enjoy the pics. Love you all!  Elda C.
